The State Recovery Office reports performance measures established by the state
agencies that receive Recovery dollars in order to provide a more comprehensive view of results-based information. Accountability and transparency
remain trademarks for our state with respect to the Recovery Act as well as all other public reporting. Providing information to the public that goes above and beyond
the data submitted to the Federal agencies each quarter is a goal for the State Recovery Office. Along with the
performance measures reported, you may also find information about jobs created/retained for each grant as well as
a comparison of ARRA to non-ARRA funding for each program reported.
We recommend that you also review the Executive Summary Report to find information on every ARRA grant awarded to
a state-funded agency and/or higher education institution.
Alabama’s performance measures fall into seven categories closely related to the purposes of the Recovery Act:
Public Safety, Energy, Transportation, Workforce, Health and Human Services,
Housing, and Environment.
The State Recovery Office will regularly update this information and continue to provide additional measures as they become
available from the agencies and institutions. Below, you will find icons that
represent each category. Click on any of the icons to pull up a summary table of
the measures reported. You will find additional detailed reports and links
to recipient websites once you have selected a category below.
